car accident, not at fault atleast I think. Unable to go to work due to no car?

i live by myself, my job is 35 miles one way. I called boss and asked to be off until my car is fixed. Use my vacation hours until it runs out, then I will be off without pay. Can I use this to claim this with the other driver’s insurance company if I am found not at fault? How about loss of use of a vehicle? Never been in an accident before I need to prepare and to learn the process.
Talk to your insurance company about getting a rental car until yours is repaired.

does your insurance have a rental clause? who got the ticket. if push comes to shove rent a car and go to work

The other persons insurance will need to get you a rental car and it is usually done the same day, call them now and get one.
