Workers Comp. , covers you whether it is your fault or not. Check with a lawyer about your state laws or if you can’t afford one , one will be appointed to you.

You should be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay for the first six months of your recovery.
Generally, whether you can claim depends on what happened. If the only reason why you had an accident was because, for instance, you were running around with a knife, then you can’t claim. But if the floor was wet or oily and there were no warning signs then you can claim.
