How long do i have to settle car insurance claim?
The statute of limitations is the limit of time to PRESENT a claim, not to settle it.
In TN, for bodily injury 1 year, for property damage 3 years.

I must respectfully disagree with my adjusting colleague Pamela S. The statute of limitations (SOL) is in fact the time frame allowed to settle a claim. The claim has to be settled or a lawsuit filed by the SOL date or you lose the legal right to compensation.
The time frames that Pamela gave are correct, but hopefully the claims has already been presented. If not don’t delay.
