Would i be entitled to compensation for accident at work?
A customer dropped a bit of wood on my head at work(B&Q) and it has been logged in accident book. When it happened i told supervisor she gave me a smile and said u ok and that was it, few weeks later i had to go to doctor as i woke with a pain down right side of my face, vision was slightly blurry and had been overly tired. Turns out ive got concussion and have been signed off work for a week. Am i entitled to claim against B&Q? Thanks.
You could sue the actual person who dropped the wood on your head, instead of the company you work for.
You will have to prove the incident was the only reason for the concussion.

you will give a workers compensation lawyer a smile on his face.
Yes. First talk to your boss/company and ask them for workers comp or ask how to pursue it. IF they don’t give you anything or they wont let you then call a workers compensation lawyer and explain your situation. It wont cost you anything to talk to a lawyer.
Bottom line is work injured you, you deserve compensation. get a copy of your accident in the accident book!
